Immigration Paralegal Irving Jimenez is a native of the Dominican Republic. He moved to New York City where he became a legal resident and later a citizen. He understands first-hand the process of immigrating to this country.
Irving has an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. He worked at a large law firm in New York City from 1990 to 2004. His expertise extends to all immigration matters with a focus on deportation defense, removal proceedings, family based adjustment, asylum, labor certifications, U visas, VAWA petitions, Dream Act applications, and work permits.
Irving moved to California in 2005 where he worked in downtown Los Angeles for an immigration attorney specializing in Removal Defense.During the years of 2008 – 2012, Irving worked with a former government trial attorney focusing on immigration reform and nonimmigrants visas, as well as cancellation of removal, asylum, waivers, family based adjustments, including gay marriage, all types of green cards, DACA, and naturalization.
In 2012, Irving joined Los Angeles Immigration Attorney, Erika Roman, as her Senior Paralegal. Irving is a sports car enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoys car racing, auto shows, and spending time with his wife and four children.
